Presented is an antique/vintage, solid sterling silver large plate, charger, platter or tray made by the Kalo Shop of Chicago during the first quarter of the 1900s. The underside has a hand engraved presentation of signatures of Wm (William) S. Monroe and Anna Havrill Monroe and the dates 1898-1923. The plate has a slight hand hammered finish and a wide rim.
The underside is marked for the Kalo Shop and sterling silver purity.
This piece is in great overall condition with only minor surface wear.
