Presented is a great pair of small sterling silver tongs made by George Jensen of Denmark between 1910 and 1925. This piece is in the Acorn pattern. The spring mechanism is working well. The handles are done in a neat acorn and flourish design and the feet have ruffled accents along the edge.
The arms are marked 925 for sterling silver purity and bear the Georg Jensen hallmark used between 1910 and 1925.
This pair of tongs is in virtually mint condition and the designs are crisp. There are no damages and no repairs.
The tongs measure 3 3/4 inches long and weigh 21.7 grams.
