Antique c1920 American Arts & Crafts Sterling Silver Covered Bowl Dish 7"

Presented is a lovely American sterling silver covered bowl or dish. This piece dates to around 1910-1930, and was probably made in the Boston area as part of the Arts & Crafts movement. The bowl sits on three legs, and has a pineapple form finial on the lid. The dish is handwrought, with the marks of hand hammering clearly visible in its finish. Use this piece as a covered candy dish or for whatever other serving or display purpose you like.

This piece is in great overall condition. As the photo points out, there is a small ding to the rim of the lid, which is not very noticeable. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no cracks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

The dish is stamped sterling on the underside of the rim of the lid.

The dish is about 7 inches in diameter and stands about 5 1/8 inches tall, including the lid.

The dish weighs 692 grams or 24.4 regular ounces.
