Presented is an antique, sterling silver cigar or cigarette box made by James E. Blake of Attleboro, Massachusetts during the first quarter of the 1900s. The box is wood lined and the whole piece has a fabulous, hand hammered finish. The lid has a push button in order to open it and it snaps securely shut. The top has a rectangular cartouche that has never been engraved. This is a great, Art Deco piece with a handsome look.
The underside is marked for James Blake, sterling silver purity and has a serial or product number 361.
This piece is in excellent overall condition for its age and the lid is very secure. There is a small ding to one of the side panels as well as the back panel, but they are hardly noticeable.

Weight: 334 grams or 11.8 regular ounces.
