Presented is a lovely sapphire, pearl and gold bar pin. This is an American made piece, dating to around the 1910s-1930s. The pin is made of 14 karat gold, set with 8 small natural pearls against an openwork background. The center of the pin is set with a round sapphire. The clasp has a safety mechanism and closes securely.
This piece is in good condition. The clasp functions well. One of the pearls has an irregular surface, as can be expected of organic materials. This is hard to notice without examining the piece up close. There are no breaks and no repairs.
The pin is stamped and guaranteed 14k.
The pin is approximately 2 inches long.
