Presented is an antique, 14 karat yellow gold and natural pearl bar pin or small brooch made in America during the late 1800s or early 1900s. The long, oval pin is securely set with rows of natural, well-matched, seed pearls. The pearls are in great condition and not worn. The pearls are also very well matched. The photo shows a color difference because of the rounding of the pin and reflections. The clasp has a safety latch for added security.
The clasp bears a maker's mark for Hedges and Company and 14K. Tested and guaranteed to be 14 karat gold purity.
This piece is in excellent overall condition. As good as you will find.
