Antique C1910 American 14k Gold Filigree Diamond Sapphire Bar Pin Brooch

Presented is a beautiful, 14 karat yellow gold bar pin made in America around 1910. The bar pin is done in a classic openwork form of the times. The yellow gold edge of the pin is finely engraved with scroll designs. The center is set with an old, mine cut diamond. The diamond has good clarity, decent color and is approximately 8 points in size. There is a post-set pearl on either side of the diamond and then a 4-point sapphire on each end. The clasp is secure.
The clasp is marked with the letter G. The back of the pin is stamped 14K.
The letter G mark on the clasp is for JA Granbery of Newark, who was in business in the late 1800's through the early 1900's. This mark can be seen in Rainwater's. This piece is in great overall condition. There is a small split to the bezel holding the center diamond, the piece is still structurally sound and the diamond is not going to fall out. There is some slight crinkling to one end, as you can see in the photos below, especially the first photo on the right hand side , it is hardly noticeable. There are no missing pieces, no breaks, no splits and no repairs.
