Presented is a lovely 10 karat gold, diamond and synthetic ruby bar pin. This piece dates to around 1910-1920 and is of American make. The pin is done in a simple, clean style, set with real diamonds and synthetic rubies alternating. The diamonds are 8-10 points each in size, old mine cut stones of G/H color and SI clarity, totaling 32-40 points or right around a third of a carat. The rubies are graduated in size from the edge to the center, round cut stones with rich red color. The pin has an old lever style safety clasp.
The pin is in great condition. The rubies and diamonds are securely set with no chips. The clasp functions well and closes securely. There are no breaks and no repairs.
The pin is stamped 10k on the clasp.
The pin is about 2 1/2 inches long.
The pin weighs 8.3 grams.
