Presented is an antique, solid sterling silver serving spoon made by Dominck & Haff during the late 1800s or early 1900s. The piece is in the Charles II pattern, which was patented in 1894. The handle has a beaded edge and an old, original monogram of the initials ESN. The decorative bowl has a light gold wash.
The back is marked for Dominck & Haff, patent 1894, sterling silver purity and has a retailer's mark for Bigelow, Kennard & Company.
This piece is in excellent overall condition for its age. There is a pin-point sized ding to the bowl and some of the gold wash has faded but the designs on the handle are crisp.
