Presented is an antique, German silver scoop made by Neresheimer & Sohne of Hanau during the late 1800s or very early 1900s. This is a very finely hand crafted little serving piece. The handle is done in decorative form of a woman holding up a crowned crest. The bowl is chased with a detailed pub genre scene showing a man and woman enjoying a goblet of ale.
The scoop is marked for Neresheimere & Sohne. Guaranteed to be between 800 and 900 purity silver.
This piece is in great overall condition, especially for its age. The chased designs are still very crisp. There are no damages or repairs.
