Antique c1900 American Sterling Silver Flower Rim Serving Bowl 10 3/4"
Regular price
$864.00
Presented is a very pretty, sterling silver bowl or serving dish made around the turn of the 20th century. This piece was made between 1890 and 1910. There is a decorative, separately cast and applied rim of raised roses, scrolls and shells. The center has a worn monogram. We are not sure who the maker is but this is a very fine quality piece.
The underside is marked sterling and has a retailer’s mark for Shreve, Crump & Low.
This piece is in excellent overall condition and the designs are crisp. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals and no repairs.
The bowl measures 10 3/4 inches in diameter, is 1 1/2 inches tall and weighs 414 grams or 14.6 ounces.
