Antique c1890 Russian Silver Beaded Rim Swing Handle Basket Bowl/Dish NO MONO
Presented is an antique, Russian solid silver basket made during the late 19th century. This piece was made around the 1890s and is done in a simple form. The top rim has a thin band of beaded design and the bowl has never been monogrammed. The hinged swing handle stands upright on its own.
The underside bears the Russian Kokoshnik 84 mark for 875 purity silver and a maker's mark. There is a small French import mark along the bottom rim.
This piece is in good overall condition for its age. There is some denting to the bowl, as you can see in the photographs.
