Presented is an antique, pure gold nugget pin or brooch. The gold nugget portion is from the gold rush during the second half the 1800s and the pin-back is at least 14 karat gold purity, so almost all of the weight is in pure gold ore/nugget. The pin has its original C style clasp.
The top of the pin is a solid nugget of 22k to 24k solid gold. The pin back and small portions reinforcing the back of the pin have been tested and are guaranteed to be at least 14 karat gold purity.
