Presented is an antique, Dutch silver serving spoon made between the 1880s and 1905. The handle is done in a twisted form and the top has a full figural decoration of a robed woman holding an anchor and dove, both of which are symbols of hope.
The bowl bears the Dutch lion passant for 833 minimum purity silver, the shaft bears the Minerva head duty mark and the top has a date letter which is hard to make out.
This piece is in excellent condition, especially for its age and the designs are crisp. There are no damages or repairs.
