Presented is an antique, German silver sugar dish and creamer for a tea set made by Theodore Julius Gunther during the late 19th century. This set is done in a very Art Nouveau or Jugendstil form and is beautifully designed with iris flower decorations. The pieces have never been monogrammed.
The underside of each piece bears the German crown and crescent moon mark, a maker's mark for Theodore Julius Gunther and 800 for the silver purity.
This set is in great overall condition, especially for its age. The sugar dish has a few small dents that can be taken out.

The creamer measures 5 1/4 inches from handle to spout and is 4 3/8 inches tall.
The sugar bowl measures 6 1/4 inches from handle to handle and is 3 1/8 inches tall.
