Presented is a fine German 800 silver fish slice. This piece is a handsome Art Nouveau find. The handle is decorated with a classic reeded and ribboned edge and bears a beautiful Art Nouveau style TRS monogram. The frosted blade is hand engraved with leaf accent and is quite beautiful. This is an elegant serving piece of the finest quality and it is made to the continental standard of 800/1000 silver.
The fish server is hallmarked on the back of the stem with the maker's mark for J.C. Wich, 800, and the German crescent moon and crown mark. This piece is in great condition with only the most minor signs of wear and there are no cracks, no breaks, no monogram removals, no repairs, and no problems of any kind.
The fish server is 11 1/4 inches long.
