Presented is an antique, Paris porcelain or fine china covered serving bowl or dish dating to the 1850-1860s. This piece is most likely Limoges. The whole piece is done in classic form and is painted with colorful flowers. There are leaf and branch form handles that have gilt accents.
This piece is in excellent condition, especially for its age. There is some slight wear to the gilding and there is a natural crack on the finial, which is from the original making of the piece, as the small crack is underneath the glaze. There are no other flaws and no repairs.
The dish measures 10 1/4 inches from handle to handle and is 6 inches tall.
