Presented is a very fine quality, 10 karat yellow gold and black enamel pin or brooch made in America between 1840 and 1860. This is a nice piece of Victorian mourning or memorial jewelry. The pin is done in a flower form and the center has an engraved leaf decoration. The pin has its original C style clasp that has been reinforced for strength. This piece is very good, solid construction.
This piece has been tested and is guaranteed to be 10 karat gold purity.
This piece is in excellent overall condition. There is some minor surface wear to the enamel but this is only noticeable upon very close inspection.
