Presented is an antique pair of Georgian English porcelain serving dishes made during the early 19th century, circa 1810-1820. Each dish is in a ruffled rectangular shape with slightly pleated sides. Each plate bears a beautifully hand-painted multi-colored flower arrangement in a basket in the center of the bowl, and hand-gilded trumpet vine floral scrolls and other detailed designs border the white floral painting and top rim.
The underside of each is marked with "1066".
The bowls are in great condition for their age. Both have some slight wear to the apricot and gilding, but there are no chips, cracks or repairs.
Each dish measures 10 3/4 by 8 3/4 inches and is 1 3/4 inches tall.
