Presented is an antique, American coin silver serving spoon made by John Proctor Trott of New London, Connecticut during the late 18th century or very early 19th century. This spoon was most likely made during the 1790s. The front of the pointed handle is hand engraved with a pretty wreath decoration. The spoon has no monogram.

The back is marked for John Proctor Trott. Tested and guaranteed to be 900 coin purity silver.

This piece is in good overall condition considering its age. There is a dent to the bowl, as you can see in the photographs it is not huge.
