Presented is a sterling silver napkin ring made during the first half of the 1900s, probably in America. This Arts & Crafts style piece has a hand hammered finish. The oval ring has an applied, rectangular cartouche on one side, probably to cover an old monogram, and a monogram of the name Jlse on the other side.
The rim of the ring is marked 925 for sterling silver purity.
This piece is in excellent overall condition for its age. The rectangular plaque on one side is probably covering an old monogram. Some solder is visible around the plaque. There is minimal surface wear, but no damages and no repairs.
