Presented is a stunning Gorham sterling silver crumber or server. This piece is done in the lovely Royal Oak pattern, which began production in 1902. As the name suggests, this pattern features rich acorn and oak leaf designs, done in a beautiful Art Nouveau style. The terminal of the handle has a blank cartouche.
This piece is in great overall condition. There are some surface abrasions to the blade portion. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no cracks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The stem of the piece is stamped with the Gorham maker's mark, sterling, and the patent date of the pattern, 1902. There is also a retail mark for William Wise & Son.
This piece is about 12 inches long.
