Presented is an antique, 14 karat yellow gold and natural garnet gemstone pin or brooch made in America during the mid 1800s. This ornate piece is done in an oval dome form, has lovely flowers that are finely engraved with accents. The flowers are securely prong set with natural garnet cabochons. The pin-back and clasp have been replaced and are in great shape.
The pin has been tested and is guaranteed to be 14 karat gold purity.
This piece is in great overall condition for its age. There has been a repair, as you can see at the 6 o'clock position. This is only visible upon close inspection.
