Presented is an antique sterling silver loose-leaf tea strainer made in America c1910 to c1920s. The strainer has a large bowl with a wide rim and has a good weight for the piece. The center is pierced with large flowers and diamond shapes, allowing for easy straining. The strainer has never been monogrammed.
The back of the handle is marked sterling.
This piece is in great overall condition. There is a small split where the handle meets the rim, but the piece is structurally sound and there are no other damages.
