Presented is a lovely American sterling silver serving fork. This piece was made by H. H. Curtis in the Yetive pattern, which was also produced by Mount Vernon. This is a beautiful floral pattern, very much in the Art Nouveau style of the time to which it dates, featuring detailed, naturalistic floral decoration on the handle. The fork has five tines, with decorative pierced work above them. This is a very nice piece, great for a wide variety of serving purposes.
This piece is in great condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
This piece is stamped with the H. H. Curtis maker's mark as well as sterling and a patent date of August 12, 1902.
The server is about 9 1/4 inches long.
This piece weighs 107 grams or 3.8 regular ounces.
