Presented is an antique pair of American coin silver sugar cube tongs made by William Roe of New York during the late 1700s. This late 18th century piece is done in an American Colonial style and the feet are decorated like acorns. The top once has a script letter monogram, but it is mostly covered by an old, solder repair.
The inside of both arms are marked for William Roe. Tested and guaranteed to be 900 coin purity silver.
This piece is in fair overall condition for its age. There is are two old, solder repair to the end of the tongs, as you can see in the photographs.
