Antique Aesthetic Movement Sterling Silver Raspberry Pattern Fish Slice Server

Presented is an antique, sterling silver fish or dessert server made by Gorham during the mid 19th century. This piece was made around the 1870s. This Aesthetic Movement piece is huge and very decorative. The handle has separately cast and applied raspberries or blackberries over a stippled, textured background. The base is finely hand engraved with berries and leaves. This is a wonderful quality piece with a unique look.

The back of the handle is marked for Gorham and sterling.

This piece is in great overall condition, especially considering age. There are no damages or repairs. There is wear to the gold wash on the bowl, but it is still visible in some portions.
