Presented is an antique, mother of pearl shell and coin silver master butter knife or cheese slice made in America during the mid 1800s. The knife has a natural, mother of pearl shell handle and the blade and collar are 900 coin silver purity. The front of the knife has a monogram of the name C.H. Burnham.
The blade is marked for a 19th century American maker.
This piece is in good condition for its age. The handle does have some stains that can be polished or buffed away.
