Presented is an antique, German silver serving, fruit or centerpiece bowl made in Hanau during the second half of the 1800s. The center is completely hand chased with a Renaissance theme courting scene. The ornate rim is done in a latticework form and there are 4 un-engraved cartouches.
The center is stamped with pseudo Hanau marks. This piece is guaranteed to be at least 800 purity silver.
This piece is in excellent overall condition for its age. There is minor surface wear but no damages and no repairs.
