Regular price
$2,304.00
Presented is a wonderful quality hand hammered sterling silver centerpiece bowl made by Arthur Stone Associates, the highly regarded Arts & Crafts maker. Although this bowl was made after Arthur Stone retired and sold his shop, many of the same master silversmiths who worked for Stone remained with the company and continued producing high quality silver. The bowl is beautifully hand wrought in classic form. The hand craftsmanship is visible throughout. The bowl is very well made and has great weight for its size. The underside of the bowl is engraved with a presentation to “C.A.W. from J.B.F. Feb. 1943”.
The bowl is marked on the underside with a maker’s mark for Arthur Stone Associates, Sterling, and the letter C for the craftsman.
The condition is excellent. The bowl has some small dings here and there, but this is minor. There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The bowl measures 9 1/2 inches in diameter and 4 inches tall.
The weight is 720 grams or 25.2 ounces.
