Antique 1930s Reed Barton Sterling Silver Hand Engraved Bowl/Dish 12.5" X 8.75"

Presented is a superb Reed & Barton sterling silver dish. This piece dates to around the 1930s. The bowl features fabulously hand chased designs around the rim, in a classical shell, scroll and leaf motif. The quality of the chasing work is exceptional, crisp and attractive.

This piece is in great overall condition. There are a couple of dings here and there, but nothing of any consequence in our opinion. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

The underside of the piece is stamped 'sterling' and with the maker's mark for Reed & Barton as well as a date mark in the shape of a sickle, for 1899.

The dish measures about 12 1/2 by 8 3/4 by 1 3/4 inches, LxWxH.

The dish weighs 466 grams or 16.4 regular ounces.
