Presented is a handsome, Austrian silver tray or charger made during the 1920s or 30s. This piece had a decorative, high relief band of design along its rim. There are grape vines, leaves and scrolls undulating along the edge of the piece. This piece would match any other silver holloware or flatware with a grape vine or leaf pattern.
The piece is marked with the Austrian 800 purity silver mark and a maker’s mark of the initials JCK.
This piece is in fabulous overall condition. There are minor surface marks in a few tiny dings, but nothing of any consequence. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals and no repairs.
The tray measures 11 1/4 inches in diameter and weighs 538 grams or 18.97 ounces.
