Antique 1920's-30's Larter & Sons Cufflinks Studs 10K White Gold Abalone
Presented is a set of white gold and abalone cuff links and studs in their original box, made by Larter and Sons of New Jersey between 1920-1930 and sold by Smith Pattersen & Co. of Boston. The photos cannot capture the terrific iridescence of the abalone featured in this set. The colors are swirling cool, lustrous lavender, plum, orange, green and silver. The white gold settings are elegantly understated, intricately engraved with flowing scrolls around brightly polished octagonal borders.
Links and backs of the set are crafted in yellow gold and stamped with a maker's mark "Larter" and "10K" for gold purity.
The condition of the entire set is pristine. The box is even in great condition, with just some spots and slight wear on the top.
