Presented is an antique, 14 karat yellow gold and natural shell cameo pin, brooch or necklace pendant made in American in 1914. This Art Nouveau piece has a very thick, solid gold mounting. The front of the mounting is hand engraved with design and the center is securely bezel set with a hand carved, natural shell cameo of a young lady. The back is inscribed with the initials MC and the date 7 - 19 - 14. The pin has a safety latch for added security and the back has a hinged bale, so you can hang the piece as a necklace pendant.
The back is marked 14K. This piece has been tested and is guarnateed to be 14 karat gold purity.
This piece is in great overall condition, especially for its age.
