Antique 1912 Great English Sterling Silver Paneled Cup Mug NO MONO

Presented is a fabulous English sterling silver cup. This piece dates to 1912 and was made for retail by Harrods. The cup is done in a handsome classical form, with paneled sides and a single C-shaped handle. The cup is polished to a bright shine, clean and ready for use or display.

This piece is in great overall condition. There are a couple of minor dings to the body of the cup, and a couple of dents to the handle as well. There are no splits, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

This piece is hallmarked on the underside with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head for the city of London, the date letter r for 1912, and the maker's mark for Sir Richard Burbridge of Harrods Stores LTD, as well as the Harrods London retail mark.

The cup stands about 3 3/8 inches tall.

The cup weighs 170 grams or 6.0 regular ounces.
