Antique 1909 Gorham Sterling Silver Fruit Centerpiece Bowl Heavy Weight 10 3/4"

Presented is a wonderful Gorham sterling silver bowl from 1909. This bowl is beautifully decorated with an applied rim of various fruits and leaves, cast in great detail and very high relief. The center of the bowl has a monogram of MFV in elegant script. Given the fruit motif, this piece would make an exceptional fruit bowl or centerpiece.

This piece is in great condition. The details of the designs are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

The underside of the piece is stamped 'sterling' and with the maker's mark for Gorham, as well as a date symbol of an arrow for 1909.

The bowl is about 10 3/4 inches in diameter and stands about 2 1/2 inches tall.

The bowl weighs 488 grams or 17.2 regular ounces.
