Presented is a wonderful, sterling silver raised plate or platter made by Gorham in 1907. The decorative plate is raised on a small foot rim. The whole piece is completely hand chased with flowers and flourishes. The applied, decorative rim is highly raised. There is a sinuous monogram in the center of the initials LSB.
The underside is marked with the Gorham hallmark, sterling and the scissors date symbol for the year 1907.
This piece is in excellent overall condition and the designs are very crisp. There are no damages and no repairs.
The plate measures 12 inches in diameter and weighs 785 grams or 27.7 ounces.
