Presented is an antique, English sterling silver dish/bowl ring or stand made by James Wakely & Frank Clarke Wheeler of London in 1902. This piece is large and done in an 18th century style. The whole piece is pierced an hand chased with designs including dogs and a genre scene of a couple surrounded by scroll and flower decorations.
The piece is marked for the Hibernia mark for sterling silver purity, the crowned harp for Dublin, a date letter G for the year 1902 and a maker's mark for James Wakely and Frank Clarke Wheeler.
This piece is in great overall condition for its age and the designs are crisp. There is slight warping to the top rim, as you can see in the photographs but this could be repaired.
The top diameter is 3 1/2 inches and the bottom rim has a diameter of 8 1/2 inches.
