Antique 18th Century Royal Vienna Austrian Porcelain Trembleuse Saucer
Regular price
$270.00
Presented is an antique, Royal Vienna porcelain trembleuse saucer made during the second half of the 18th century. This piece was made around 1770 or 1780. This is a saucer for a tea or chocolate cup that has a raised, decorative stand in the center. The piece is hand painted with colorful flowers and the stand in the center is done in a decorative, openwork form.
It is much easier to find a tea, coffee or chocolate cup to fit with the saucer than it is to find a rare trembleuse saucer.
The underside has an old Royal Vienna beehive sheild mark.
This piece is in excellent condition for its old age. There are two small chips, one to the outer rim and one to the rim of the stand, that have been filled in but no other flaws and no repairs.
The saucer measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter and is 1 1/4 inches tall.
