Antique 1890s Art Nouveau American Sterling Silver Salad Fork Spoon Serving Set

Presented is a superb quality American sterling silver salad serving set. This set dates to around the 1890s. We do not know the maker or the pattern of these pieces, but they are quite sturdy and well constructed, made from thick, heavy gauge silver. The handles have a rich design of flowers and scrolled leaves in high relief. The bowls of the spoon and the business end of the fork have a light  gold wash. Use these pieces together for serving salad, or individually for whatever other serving purpose you like.

This set is in great condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

The underside of each piece is stamped sterling.

The spoon is about 11 inches long. The fork is about 10 3/4 inches long.

The total weight for the set is 225 grams or 7.9 regular ounces.
