Antique 1890 Handcrafted Asian Silver Brass Mixed Metal Round Trinket Box 2 1/2"

Presented is an antique, Asian mixed metal trinket box made during the late 19th century. We believe this piece to be Chinese in origin and it was most likely made around the 1890s. The box is completely hand chased with intricate patterns and designs. The round base of the box is brass, while the decorative sides and lid of the box are silver.

This piece is being sold in as-is condition. The construction of the box is solid and the lid fits tight to the base. The lid has many holes worn through, we have shown the light shining through them in the last photograph.
