Presented is an antique, sterling silver dresser or vanity jar made by Shreve, Crump & Low during the late 1800s or early 1900s. This Art Nouveau piece has a gold wash on the interior and the lid is beautifully hand chased with detailed flowers and leaves surrounding a monogram of the initials FJL. The lid fits tightly. This round box could be used for anything, like a tea caddy or just as a jar to keep something fresh.
This piece is in great overall condition for its age. There are some slight dents to the body and some dings have been removed, but this is not very noticeable, as you can see in the photographs. The lid fits tight.
