Antique 1888 Whiting Heraldic Sterling Silver Serving Spoon 'Florence' Mono
Presented is an antique, sterling silver serving spoon made by the Whiting Manufacturing Company. This piece is in the Heraldic pattern, which was patented in 1880. The handle is beautifully decorated with a raised knight’s helmet surrounded by flourishes. The front of the handle has a monogram of the name Florence and the back is engraved with the year 1888.
The back is marked with the Whiting hallmark and sterling.
This piece is in excellent overall condition. There are no damages and no repairs.
The spoon measures 7 1/4 inches long.
