Presented is an antique, sterling silver tody ladle or brandy warmer made by Martin Goldstein in 1880. This late 19th century, Victorian piece is quite rare. It is done in a classic form and it has a long, turned wood handle. The sterling pot has a small spout and it has never been monogrammed.

The underside of the pot is marked with the leopard's head for the city of London, the lion passant for sterling silver purity, a duty mark of Queen Victoria's head, a date letter E for the year 1880 and a maker's mark for Martin Goldstein.

This piece is in excellent overall condition, especially for its age. There are a few small dents to the sides. There is no pin holding the handle. It is certainly glued or epoxied and is very well set.

Length: 12 1/8 inches.

Weight: 44 grams.
