Presented is a fabulous American sterling silver serving ladle. This piece dates to 1870-1890, and is done in the American Aesthetic Movement style of that time period. The handle is wonderfully acid cut and etched with a design of flowers and leaves. The back of the handle has a matte finish, as well as a beautifully engraved monogram of ECS.
This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The ladle is stamped sterling on the stem.
The ladle is about 11 1/4 inches long.
This ladle weighs 145.6 grams or 5.1 regular ounces.
