Presented is an antique, sterling silver gravy or sauce ladle made by William Eaton of London, England in 1829. This Georgian, 19th century piece is done in a classic Fiddle pattern. The back of the handle has a small monogram at the bottom of the letter P, near the bowl.
The back of the handle is hallmarked with the leopard's head for the city of London, the lion passant for sterling silver purity, a duty mark of the king's head, a date letter o for the year 1829 and a maker's mark for William Eaton.
This piece is in great condition, especially for its age.
There is minor surface wear, but no damages and no repairs.
