Presented is an antique, Boston Sandwich Glass Works hand blown wine decanter made 1825-1840. This piece is in a classic form, with applied glass rings along the neck and diamond or latticework as well as star or sun decorations on the body. The decanter comes with a nice, globe form stopper that fits well and is also antique. The underside has a pontil mark.
The pattern mold is McKearin GIII-5.
This piece is in excellent overall condition. There is some wear to the underside but there are no damages and no repairs.
The decanter with its stopper measures 10 1/4 inches tall.
