Regular price $324.00 $0.00 Unit price per
Presented is a fantastic Georgian English sterling silver platter or stuffing spoon. This piece dates to 1818 and was made by Sarah & John William Blake. The spoon is done in a simple, classical form, with a distinctive downward turn to the end of the handle. The front of the handle has an engraved crest, mostly obscured. This serving spoon is a good large size, with a long handle, great for any serving purpose you like.

This piece is in great overall condition. The crest on the handle is mostly obscured, but we do not think it was deliberately removed. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, and no repairs.

This piece is hallmarked with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head crowned for the city of London, the date letter C for 1818, King George III's head duty mark, and the maker's mark for Sarah & John William Blake.

The spoon is about 12 1/8 inches long.

This piece weighs 105 grams or 3.7 regular ounces.
