Presented is an antique, Irish sterling silver platter, serving or stuffing spoon made by by Isaac Solomon of Dublin in 1817. This early 19th century piece is a good size and weight. The handle has a feathered or gadrooned edge and has never been monogrammed. The back of the bowl has a classical rattail design.
This piece bears the harp for Dublin, the Hibernia mark for sterling silver purity, a duty mark of the king's head, a date letter W for the year 1817 and a maker's mark that we believe is for Isaac Solomon.
This piece in great condition for its age. There is minor surface wear commensurate with age and use, but no damages.
