Presented is an antique, sterling silver gravy or sauce ladle of good size and weight made by William Eley & William Fearn of London in 1814. This Georgian, early 19th century piece is done in a classic Fiddle pattern. The front of the handle has an interesting, hand engraved crest of a armored knight holding up a goblet.

The back is marked with the lion passant for sterling silver, a date letter T for the year 1814, a duty mark of the king's head and a maker's mark for William Eley & William Fearn.

This piece is in excellent overall condition and the designs are crisp. There is minimal surface wear commensurate with age and use, but no damages and no repairs.

Length: 7 inches.

Weight: 61 grams.
